Use this page to select your courses and prepare your Learning Agreement. Agree your academic plans with your home university and EHU before your exchange begins.
Course catalogue
Use the catalogue for the academic year and semester of your exchange. Check each course’s:
- semester and teaching dates;
- language of instruction;
- ECTS credits;
- academic level and prerequisites;
- teaching format: in person, online or blended;
- assessment requirements.
If a syllabus or prerequisite information is missing, contact international@ehu.lt with the exact course title. We can obtain clarification from the academic department. Course availability may change; your final selection is subject to confirmation by EHU.
Language requirements
For courses taught in English, provide proof of at least B2 English. Proof may be issued by your home university or provided through an internationally recognised language qualification.
EHU also offers courses in Russian and Belarusian. Check the language of each course before selecting it and contact EHU about the language evidence required. Choose courses in a language you can use for reading, discussion, written work and assessment.
ECTS and academic level
Your course selection should normally include 20–30 ECTS credits per semester. A slightly higher workload may be agreed with EHU and your home university.
Your home university determines your required workload, confirms whether the courses fit your degree and agrees how they will be recognised. It also determines the applicable conditions of your Erasmus+ financial support.
You may request courses from different study programmes and academic levels, including master’s courses. Participation depends on prerequisites, availability and approval by both universities.
Prepare your Learning Agreement
Prepare your Learning Agreement before arrival in consultation with your home university.
- Use your home university’s digital Learning Agreement system or the Online Learning Agreement platform, according to your home university’s instructions.
- Enter each course on a separate line, using the exact title, course code where available, and ECTS credits from the catalogue.
- Enter the EHU responsible person and contact person listed below.
- Sign the agreement and arrange approval by your home university.
- EHU reviews your course selection and signs once the information is complete and the courses have been approved.
Your Learning Agreement must be approved by you, your home university and EHU before your mobility begins.
| EHU role | Name and position | |
| Responsible person | Natallia Leanovich, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator | international@ehu.lt |
| Contact person | Evelina Grochovska, International Mobility Manager, Student Service and International Mobility Unit | international@ehu.lt |
If digital processing is not possible, contact the Mobility Unit to agree on another format. Tell us about any specific approval deadline set by your home university.
For course changes after arrival, see After Arrival and During Your Stay.
Academic dates and assessment
Consult the academic calendar and timetable and the dates in your acceptance documents. Plan to remain in Vilnius for all assessments required by your courses.
Read each course’s attendance, assignment, examination and academic integrity requirements. If an assessment date creates a difficulty, contact the lecturer and your home coordinator before booking departure travel. Remote or rescheduled examinations require agreement.
Exchange fees and student rights
Erasmus+ students are not charged tuition, registration or examination fees, or fees for access to laboratory and library facilities during the exchange. Certain costs, such as insurance or study materials, may apply on the same basis as for local students. For bilateral exchanges, check the terms of the applicable agreement with EHU.
Read the Erasmus+ Student Charter for your programme rights and responsibilities.
