Opening Ceremony of the 2026/27 Academic Year
Dear Members of the Academic Community,
On 1 October 2026, the European Humanities University will hold the official Opening Ceremony of the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
This day traditionally brings together students, faculty, and staff of the University and marks the symbolic beginning of a new chapter. It’s a time for new knowledge, ideas, professional growth, and shared achievements.
The ceremony will be attended by distinguished guests, members of the University leadership, as well as representatives of academic departments and administrative units.
The Rector of EHU, Dr Vilius Šadauskas, will address the University’s students, faculty, and staff with a welcome speech.
Following the official part of the ceremony, we will continue our university tradition with the cutting of the welcome cake as a symbolic gesture marking the beginning of a new academic year and expressing our best wishes to the entire University community.
The ceremony will begin at 13:00 Vilnius time.
We will be delighted to share this special day with you and to begin the new academic year together in an atmosphere of unity, inspiration, and new opportunities.
