Register now and discover how animation, cinematic storytelling, and concept art shape the games we play—and how creative roles in game development are evolving in 2026.

Industry professionals behind major titles like Love, Death & Robots and World of Tanks, will share practical, real-world insights into animation fundamentals, motion capture and AI, the art of impactful game trailers, and the question every concept artist eventually faces: does academic drawing still matter in game development?

The event is hosted by Lithuanian Game Developers Association and the Game Creation Program, and is open to applicants, students, and everyone passionate about creating games.

  • 15:00 — Introduction
  • 15:10 — Why Academic Drawing Matters (or Doesn’t?) for GameDev Concept Artists
    Roman Sustov, Concept Artist at Wargaming

He has been working in print graphics and book illustrations, taking part in many local and international exhibitions and contests of print graphics. His works can be found in private collections in the USA, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, Japan, etc.

Roman has been working in book graphics for a long time. He cooperates with many international publishing houses. He has more than twenty books published with his illustrations. He is a regular winner of the exhibition “An Artist and A Book”.

  • 15:45 — Bouncing Ball. Being an animator in 2026. Fundamentals, Motion Capture and AI in a Changing Industry
    Ilya Mozzhukhin, Animation Director.

Ilya has collaborated with major international companies including Activision/Blizzard, Blur Studio, and FunPlus.

His portfolio includes work on several high-profile projects such as Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Lionheart, and Love, Death + Robots on Netflix. As Creative Director, he oversaw the production of the animated series based on the original IP Artificial Detective.

He is currently working as Animation Director on Nightholme, a multiplayer horror action game.

 

  • 16:20 — Art of trailers: telling more in less time

Herman Ragimov,Cinematic Director / Creative Producer with 11 years of experience in the gaming industry.

His portfolio spans major live-service titles — Warface, Revelation Online, PUBG, Skyforge, Conqueror’s Blade — where he worked on long-term content pipelines and promotional campaigns. He delivered hands-on cinematic work as Senior Cinematic Artist on Evil West, Shadow Warrior 3, UFL, Lost Future, WWI, Diesel Soldiers and many more.

Currently he serves as Cinematics Lead on an unannounced AAA project and works as an independent Creative Producer.
