1. Call for Dissertation Topics
Dissertation topics may be formulated broadly, and several dissertations may be written within a single topic. The proposed dissertation topics must correspond to the research areas of the doctoral program institutions. Topics may be proposed by individual researchers or research groups.
The following form must be submitted for the call for dissertation topics:

Applications for participation in the call may be submitted from March 2 to April 30, 2026.
2. Call for Doctoral Supervisors
A doctoral supervisor may be a person who meets the requirements for a senior researcher and participates in doctoral training activities, international research projects, and scientific expert activities. A scholar may supervise no more than five doctoral candidates at the same time (including doctoral candidates on academic leave).
The following documents must be submitted for the call for doctoral supervisors:

Documents for both the doctoral supervisors competition and the dissertation topics competition should be sent by email to: oleg.vinichenko@ehu.lt
The deadline for submitting documents is April 30, 2026.
The Doctoral Committee will make a decision on the results of the competition by May 8, 2026.
