EHU Teams Win Awards at the GHEA21 Final Film Festival 2025

Congratulations to the talented teams from the Visual Storytelling for Civic Engagement documentary film course on their victory at the GHEA21 Final Film Festival 2025!

As Bonnie T.Goad, Director of GHEA21 Program Development & Communications and Associate Director of the Bard Center for Civic Engagement, who served as this year’s jury chair of the GHEA21 Academy, said: “We have a lot of discussion and many, many views … kind of these multiple categories”, and here is the result – this year, two EHU teams from the VSCE course were recognized with awards:

for the film Threads of Resistance, which deservedly won the prize in the Best Script category (mentored by Julia Titowa)
for the film Elsewhere“, was honored with the “Best Narration” award. (mentored by Julia Titowa)

All films can be watched soon on the GHEA21 platform, along with other films by VSCE course participants.
