The Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania (LGGRTC) and the European Humanities University (EHU) have recently signed a cooperation agreement
24-10-2025
Through this agreement, both institutions aim to promote civic engagement, contribute to the preservation of historical heritage, and foster the commemoration of key historical events. The cooperation also includes the honoring and remembrance of freedom fighters and victims of genocide, as well as the potential development of new forms, methods, and initiatives in research. This partnership is not only an institutional agreement but also an invitation to build a living dialogue between history, education, and society.
The LGGRTC expressed particular interest in creating internship opportunities for EHU students – ranging from archival and museum work to communication and publishing projects. This collaboration will open new paths for students to engage with Lithuania’s history and contribute to preserving its memory.
