Reinhard Stuth Appointed as Vice Chair of the Governing Board

Reinhard Stuth was Appointed as Vice Chair of the Governing Board of the European Humanities University.

The Governing Board of the University is a collegial governing body of the University. The Governing Board is the decisive governing body concerning the administration and financial management of the University, including strategic planning, budgetary and financial issues, and all related issues pertaining to the effectiveness of higher management. The competence of the Governing Board is defined by the Lithuanian legislation and Statute.

Members of the Governing Board are elected by the General Assembly of the Part-Owners.

About the Appointee Reinhard Stuth

Mr. Reinhard Stuth is a German lawyer, with an intense experience in regional, European and foreign affairs development, who has served as Minister for Culture and Media at the Hamburg State Government in 2010-2011.

He has earlier served in a number of postures such as Hamburg State Secretary for Federal, European and Foreign Affairs, and led operations of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Czech Republic and Slovakia. He currently serves as Managing Partner at HanBao Neue Energien GmbH. Mr. Stuth holds a Law degree from Hamburg University.At this key moment for the university, Mr. Reinhard Stuth’s role at the Governing Board is highly significant and will help drive EHU’s academic and institutional growth forward.
