EHU Rector, Dr. Vilius Ĺ adauskas, in his welcoming speech, thanked everyone involved in the creation of the new campus and emphasized that it opens new opportunities for the entire academic community:

The opening ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere: music from a DJ, light refreshments, smiles, and conversations made the day special. The highlight was a large cake shaped like a house — a symbol that EHU is a home where everyone can feel part of the community, grow, and be inspired.
