LŽKA and EHU’s Game Creation Program Announce Academic Partnership
The Lithuanian Game Developers Association (LŽKA) and the Game Creation Program at European Humanities University (EHU) are announcing a new academic partnership aimed at strengthening the game development talent pipeline in Lithuania.
Through this collaboration, LŽKA and EHU will work together to connect the local game development industry more closely with the next generation of creators studying in the Game Creation program. The partnership reflects a shared goal: supporting the growth of a strong, sustainable game dev ecosystem in Lithuania, and helping ensure that talented students have the tools, network, and industry insight they need to launch their own projects and careers.
“One of the missions of the Lithuanian Game Developers Association is to promote game development in Lithuania, and education plays a very important role in this process. It’s great to see more and more new games being announced and launched by our developers, and more people getting interested in creating games from an earlier age and in various fields. We are honoured to establish a new partnership with European Humanities University and the Game Creation Program. We hope that together we’ll provide more opportunities for new talents to step into the game development industry and create great engaging games,” says Ričardas Jaščemskas, Project Manager at LŽKA.
Entry exams for the Game Creation program are currently underway, with studies set to begin on October 1.
