The event is part of the National Culture Days at EHU initiative launched by Rector. This initiative aims to foster dialogue between the university community and diplomatic and cultural institutions operating in Lithuania, while introducing students to the rich cultures, academic traditions, and opportunities offered by different countries.
The lecture, titled “History of Icelandic Independence,” will provide participants with an opportunity to explore the historical development of Iceland’s nationhood and sovereignty.
Following the lecture, attendees will be invited to an informal meeting with the Ambassador of Iceland, offering a unique chance to engage in conversation and learn more about Icelandic culture, history, and contemporary life.
All members of the EHU community are warmly welcome to attend.
