European Humanities University Brings Creativity, Games, and Community Spirit to Comic Con Baltics 2026
European Humanities University (EHU) proudly participated in Comic Con Baltics 2026, the largest pop culture and creative entertainment event in the Baltic region, held at LITEXPO in Vilnius. Bringing together tens of thousands of visitors, international guests, gaming enthusiasts, creators, and industry professionals, Comic Con Baltics has become one of the region’s most influential platforms for creativity, innovation, and community engagement.
Throughout the three-day festival, EHU welcomed visitors to its interactive exhibition stand, where guests had the opportunity to explore the university’s academic programs, participate in gaming activities, meet students and faculty members, and experience the creative atmosphere that defines the EHU community.
One of the most memorable highlights of EHU’s presence was its energetic hamster mascot, who quickly became a fan favorite among visitors. The mascot could be seen throughout the event participating in fitness challenges, pull-up and push-up competitions, dance battles, and spontaneous interactions with attendees. Bringing enthusiasm, positivity, and humor to every activity, the hamster became a highly recognizable symbol of EHU’s participation and helped create a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
A major focus of the stand was Game Creation, EHU’s new English-taught study program launching admissions this year. The program team organized a themed gaming giveaway inspired by video game culture, offering participants the chance to win exciting prizes while learning more about opportunities within the growing game development industry.
Visitors also had the opportunity to discover several other English-taught programs offered by EHU. The Computer Science program showcased student projects and demonstrations, allowing attendees to explore innovative work created by students while learning more about the curriculum and academic opportunities available.
Representatives of the Visual Design program hosted a sketching workshop, inviting participants to develop their creative skills and engage directly with design practices. Meanwhile, the Media and Communication program introduced visitors to the dynamic world of contemporary media, storytelling, and digital communication.
Across all three days, EHU’s stand became a vibrant space for creativity, conversation, collaboration, and discovery. Through interactive activities, educational showcases, and meaningful engagement with the Comic Con Baltics community, the university demonstrated its commitment to innovation, creative industries, and international education.
EHU’s participation at Comic Con Baltics 2026 reflects the university’s dedication to connecting with future students, creators, and innovators while contributing to one of the most exciting cultural and creative events in the Baltic region.
