Since 2011, EHU students, faculty, and staff have been qualified to participate in the ERASMUS Program, a series of exchanges designed to promote European cooperation in higher education, student and staff mobility, and cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises.
Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme supporting education, training, youth and sport. European Humanities University (EHU) participates in Erasmus+ to promote international learning opportunities, professional development and cooperation with partner institutions.
Opportunities for students and staff
Depending on the applicable project and call for applications, Erasmus+ opportunities include:
- student mobility for studies;
- student and recent graduate traineeships;
- short-term blended mobility, including blended intensive programmes (BIPs);
- staff mobility for teaching and training.
Erasmus+ supports cooperation with institutions in EU Member States, countries associated with the Programme and eligible third countries not associated with the Programme. Available destinations and activities depend on EHU’s agreements, project conditions and funding.
For incoming participants
EHU welcomes students and staff from partner institutions. Incoming students should consult the current course catalogue for available courses, teaching languages, semester information and academic requirements.

Quality and inclusion
EHU’s participation is guided by the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and its Erasmus Policy Statement. The programme promotes inclusion and diversity, environmental sustainability, digital transformation and participation in democratic life.
Information on selection, funding, additional support and recognition is provided on the relevant mobility pages and in the applicable calls for applications.
