The main objective of this project is to promote students’ active involvement in solving socially relevant problems. The project aims to create an effective synergy between the research carried out by the University’s students and the needs of NGOs. A new phase of the project has been launched for the AY 2022-2023, involving Lithuanian civil society actors, Belarusian civil organisations relocated to Lithuania, Poland and Georgia, other public cultural and educational organisations, and research centres, regardless of their location or country of activity. |

The project “Recording the Belarus–Lithuania Border Conflict” aimed to document the experiences of individuals who entered Lithuania from Belarus during the 2021 migration crisis by collecting audio interviews for further research. This project explored heritage concepts through interdisciplinary artistic and research-based approaches, focusing on the legacy of Maria Prymachenko and Belarusian artist Alena Kish. Participants engaged in biographical research, creative workshops, and the development of visual and performative narratives, resulting in original artistic outputs and a theatre performance.
