The “International Law and Security Studies” programme is designed to launch your career and develop you into a proficient legal expert in the dynamic realm of global security and law.
The program trains lawyers whose professional focus includes peaceful resolution of international disputes, maintaining the security of interstate communication through legal means, fostering social responsibility, and promoting the sustainable development of states and the international community.
Graduates are expected to demonstrate commitment to the values of the Western legal tradition, the ability to implement the principles of democracy and the rule of law through legitimate means, and to promote the ideals of peace and security using the tools of international law.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Master’s programmes is conducted without entrance exams, based on a motivational interview and confirmation of the English language proficiency (B2 or higher).
Candidates must also meet at least one of the following academic criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in law;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in another field with additional university-level legal education (at least 60 ECTS credits);
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in another field with at least 3 years of work experience in the legal field (additional legal education of at least 15 ECTS credits required);
- Non-university (college-level) higher legal education diploma with additional university legal courses (at least 60 ECTS credits).
Applicants’ legal experience is evaluated according to internal university regulations. Candidates without a legal education background may be offered an individual study plan.
