The books were presented following the visit of H.E. Jennes de Mol, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to the university, during which he met with EHU leadership and engaged with members of the academic community.
In his accompanying letter, Ambassador de Mol expressed his appreciation for the visit and highlighted the strong impression made by EHU’s mission and academic environment.Â
He also emphasized his openness to further engagement with the university, expressing his willingness to contribute to discussions with students during future visits to Vilnius.
The Ambassador presented a selection of books by contemporary Dutch authors published in Polish. The collection will be added to the EHU library and made available to students and faculty, supporting academic study and cultural exchange. EHU expresses its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Ambassador Jennes de Mol for this thoughtful and meaningful gift.
