European Humanities University Welcomes New Erasmus+ Partner Institution for Staff Visit

On 18–19 December 2025, the European Humanities University (EHU) hosted a staff visit of representatives from its new Erasmus+ partner institution, the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences.

The visiting delegation included Mari Taalmann, Head of Internationalization, and Anne Neroda, Research Coordinator. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, exchange best practices, and explore opportunities for future academic and administrative collaboration within the Erasmus+ programme.

The visit began at EHU’s Main Building (Savičiaus g. 17), where the guests met with representatives of EHU’s academic and administrative units. The programme included meetings with Olga Rancova, Senior Manager for Research (Art) Activities, Nijolė Saugėnienė,  Director of the Academic Support Centre, and Julia Titova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Arts. The guests were also introduced to the university’s infrastructure and academic environment during a guided campus tour. A dedicated session with the Student Service and International Mobility Unit focused on international cooperation, mobility management, and Erasmus+ implementation practices.

On the second day, the visit continued at the School of Economics and Business (Savanorių pr. 28). The delegation met with the school’s administration, including Dzmitry Kruk, the school’s Director, and other key academic and administrative staff. The programme featured presentations of academic programmes and ongoing projects, discussions on cooperation within Erasmus+ frameworks, and an introduction to the student project IGB (Innovation, Growth and Business). The guests also met with representatives of the School of Digital Competencies, who discussed academic development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and future mobility opportunities.

During the visit, the partners agreed to organise a follow-up online meeting to discuss cooperation within the new educational programme, Game Creation. This agreement marks an important step towards developing joint initiatives, including potential curriculum development, staff exchanges, and project-based collaboration under Erasmus+.

The staff visit became an important milestone in establishing a strong partnership between EHU and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences and reaffirmed EHU’s commitment to internationalisation, academic quality, and sustainable Erasmus+ cooperation.
