EHU Students to Showcase Their Games at Game Developers Session in Prague

Participation marks the launch of the new Game Creation program at European Humanities University.

Join us at the oldest Central European festival dedicated to games development, game technologies, business and marketing!

The European Humanities University (EHU, Vilnius) will take part in the Game Developers Session (GDS) in Prague — the oldest Central European event dedicated to game development, game technologies, business, and marketing. The conference brings together developers, publishers, educators, and indie teams from across Europe.

This year, EHU will be represented at GDS for the first time by a group of students who will showcase their own game projects. Participants will present prototypes and game concepts developed during their studies and extracurricular initiatives, and will join pitches, lectures, and workshops led by international industry professionals.

EHU’s participation in GDS is particularly significant as it coincides with the official launch of the university’s new bachelor program Game Creation — an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines game design, programming, narrative design, visual creativity, and game production.
The program was submitted for accreditation to the Lithuanian Education Quality Assessment Center in March 2025.

By presenting student work at an international industry event, EHU aims to:

  • strengthen its connections with the European game development community,
  • introduce young creators to real-world industry standards,
  • provide students with opportunities for collaboration, internships, and professional growth.

“Our students entering the international scene at GDS demonstrates the creative potential of the new Game Creation program and reflects EHU’s commitment to supporting innovation and digital creativity,” noted the program coordinators.

Let’s explore the emerging talent shaping the future of game development in the region!
