EHU Rector Represents the University at the 2025 Business Awards Gala in Vilnius

European Humanities University (EHU) continues to strengthen its strategic engagement with the business community through high-level institutional representation and active partnership building. As part of these efforts, EHU Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas represented the University at the Business Awards Gala for Achievements in 2025, organised by the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.

The Gala served as an important platform for dialogue between business leaders, public institutions, and the education sector. Dr. Šadauskas’ participation highlighted EHU’s commitment to building sustainable and long-term ties between higher education and the business environment, with a particular focus on cooperation, innovation, and the development of relevant competencies for today’s labour market.

During the event, the Rector took part in discussions alongside representatives of higher and professional education, underlining the role of universities as key partners for economic development and social progress. His presence emphasised EHU’s openness to collaboration and its readiness to engage in cross-sector initiatives at both national and regional levels.

The participation in the Business Awards Gala also follows an important milestone for the University: in the summer of 2025, EHU renewed its membership in the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. This step reinforces the University’s commitment to closer cooperation with business organisations and to expanding opportunities for students, academic staff, and institutional partners.

Commenting on the University’s engagement, Rector Dr. Vilius Šadauskas emphasised that close interaction with the business community is essential for modern universities. Such partnerships, he noted, enable EHU to align academic programmes with real-world needs, support innovation, and contribute actively to the socio-economic development of Lithuania and the wider region.

Through continued participation in initiatives led by the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, EHU reaffirms its dedication to partnership, dialogue, and shared development between education and business.
