Ambassador Jennes de Mol Visits European Humanities University in Vilnius
On 20 November, the European Humanities University (EHU) in Vilnius welcomed H.E. Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Jennes de Mol, Mr. Rene Kersten, and Mr. Wojciech Borodzicz-Smoliński for an official introductory visit to the University campus.
The purpose of the visit was to provide the guests with a comprehensive overview of EHU’s mission, its academic profile, and its role in supporting students. For Ambassador de Mol and Mr. Kersten, this marked their first visit to EHU.
During the meeting, University representatives presented:
- EHU’s academic environment and strategic direction
- current student demographics, including the strong enrollment of Belarusian students
- the university’s long-term plans related to institutional stability, development, and international cooperation.
The delegation expressed strong interest in EHU’s work, its role as an international academic space, and its contributions to higher education in the region.
EHU expresses its sincere appreciation to Ambassador Jennes de Mol, Mr. Rene Kersten, and Mr. Wojciech Borodzicz-Smoliński for their visit and for their interest in the University’s mission, challenges, and future vision.
