Program Registration

Graduates receive a comprehensive theater education that helps them develop in a dynamic cultural and social environment.

We train theater actors who are confident in their creative abilities, capable of critical thinking, improvisation, and creating vivid characters.

The program combines the theory and practice of European theater (Lithuania, France, Italy, Greece) and includes classical acting disciplines, scenography, dramaturgy, and the fundamentals of directing. Training is conducted by experienced educators and professional actors from Belarus, Lithuania, and other countries.

Training is conducted in collaboration with Vilnius Old Theatre, where students gain experience performing on a real stage.

The program integrates classical theatrical methods with modern innovative approaches, including digital technologies.

After completing the program, graduates can work as:

  • Theater and film actor/actress — performing in dramatic and experimental theater productions, acting in films and TV series, collaborating with directors, and participating in international festivals.
  • Creator of independent theater projects — staging performances, immersive productions, collaborating with independent theaters, and engaging in international theater platforms.
  • Voice-over artist and dubbing specialist — working in dubbing, audiobook narration, advertising, film voice-over, and participating in radio projects and casting calls.
  • Acting coach — teaching stage speech, movement, and acting techniques in theater studios and educational institutions.
  • Screenwriter, director — developing and directing theater productions, creating scripts for film, television, and digital platforms.

Academic career — opportunities to pursue master’s programs in Europe and the USA in theater arts, directing, dramaturgy, and criticism.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the “Theater Art and Acting” program is based on the results of the Artistic Performance Exam and a motivational interview.

The Artistic Performance Exam is required only for applicants to the “Theater Art and Acting” program.

The purpose of the exam is to assess applicants’ creative and performance abilities.

How does the exam work?

The exam consists of three stages, completed in the following order:
1️⃣ Video Essay includes a performance of poetry (including fables) and a prose excerpt. Detailed video essay requirements are available here.
2️⃣ Interview
3️⃣ Creative Performances:

  • Recitation of poetry and prose
  • Vocal performance
  • Choreographic composition
  • Individual and group stage studies

The exam is held online – detailed connection instructions will be provided in advance.

Exam duration: 30 minutes.

Important! Interview and Creative Performances are held on the same day.
