The Bachelor’s program “Informatics” was launched in 2022 with the support of the international company EPAM Systems. Since 2024, the program has been operating independently, educating over 300 students and continuously adapting to the evolving demands of the industry.Â
Our instructors are active specialists and experts in various areas of the IT industry, working for international companies. This enables students to build connections with potential employers and study cutting-edge digital technologies.
The program is developed in collaboration with IT partners, aligns with the Bologna Process, and awards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science upon graduation.
Personalized learning path — from the first semester, students choose one of three specializations: Java, .NET, or JavaScript/TypeScript. The selected technology is studied in-depth over four semesters.

Students and graduates of the “Informatics” program work in Lithuanian and international IT-companies: Wargaming, Bentley Systems, Honeywell, Godel Technologies Europe, EPAM sistemos, Kickertech, Orion Innovations, Accenture, Aspen Technology Labs, and many others.
Modern languages and technologies — all students learn Python and apply it in courses such as Algorithms and Data Structures, Probability Theory, Math Statistics, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Image Processing & Computer Vision.
Focus on industry trends — the curriculum includes courses in key areas of IT development: Cloud Technologies, Machine Learning, Cryptography & Blockchain.
Smooth language transition — studies begin in Russian with intensive English learning, followed by a gradual shift to English-taught courses, ensuring a comfortable integration into the international academic and professional environment.
Flexibility and convenience — two study formats are available: full-time in Vilnius and evening online learning (part-time), allowing students to study from anywhere in the world and combine education with work.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Informatics program is conducted without entrance exams, based on a competitive score and a motivational interview.
The overall competitive score (X) for applicants is calculated based on the scores indicated in their secondary education documents and/or state exam scores and interview results using the following formula:
X = 0.25 * M + 0.25 * A + 0.25 * AvS + 0.25 * Int
M – Mathematics
A – English
AvS – Grade Point Average
Int – Interview

The overall interview score for each applicant is calculated using the formula R = (3 * K1 + 4 * K2 + 3 * K3) / N, where:
K1 is the sum of all committee members’ scores for the “Motivation in Choosing a Program” criterion;
K2 is the sum of all committee members’ scores for the “Technical Skills” criterion;
K3 is the sum of all committee members’ scores for the “Social and Communication Skills” criterion;
N – number of commission members.
