
Since 2018, all student theses must be uploaded to the university’s theses repository within the deadlines set by departments, but no later than 10 business days before the defense. The repository can be searched through the EHU Virtual Library.
Only uploaded and approved versions of theses and final projects are sent for review.
Guidelines for submitting your thesis/project to the university’s repository
Final theses have to be formatted in accordance with the EHU Guidelines for Written Papers. For bibliographical descriptions, please refer to the formatting examples prepared by the university library.
To assist in formatting bibliographic descriptions of sources, you can use the following tools to help you format the description correctly (fonts, field placement, etc.):
- Zotero (registration and software installation needed)
- Zotero Bib (registration optional, internet tool, less options available)
- Mendeley (registration and software installation needed)
- MS Word – References – Citations&Bibliography (imbedded in the application)
- AI tools ands others
Information about sources in theses is provided in accordance with the rules of the Chicago citation style (notes and bibliography) (16th edition).
